They built machine learning models that predict Car Accident Severity, based on open Datasets from data.gouv.fr and data.gov.uk
📣 We are excited to announce the result of the data challenge we hosted en collaboration with and at WAICF - World AI Cannes Festival
Overall, we had 83 participants from multiple #universities, they submitted 234 predictions during two days yay !! the 3 winning teams are from Simplon.co. The best team created a #MachineLearning model that predicts Car Accident Severity 💥🚘 at an accuracy of about 0.676 (balanced accuracy), which is very good for an unbalanced and complex dataset (combination of open dataset from data.gouv.fr 🇫🇷 and data.gov.uk 🏴)
